Ken Flint is a Drummer/Percussionist with an unlimited musical vision and an unbridled passion for his craft.  Not being comfortable with just being a master percussionist, Ken plays guitar, piano, bass, sings and is an accomp- lished songwriter.  A two-time recipient of the prestigious ASCAP Popular Songwriter's Award,  Ken has grown increasingly confident in his creative abilities.  When Ken writes, he's sure to create a song that allows for a subtle, albeit interesting drum and percussion part, as in the case of his song, "Those Crazy, Crazy Drums", where drums, vibes, xylophone and many other percussion instruments create a delightfully light-hearted tune about his ongoing love affair with the drums!

When asked his thoughts on the NDA and what it does for him, Ken said, "I think there is so much potential in all of us that so often goes untapped and it's a shame because we all need to witness each other's success in order to be inspired to reach our own goals."  Ken further stated, "That's why I'm so glad to be part of the NDA.  I feel like I'm part of and in touch with the drumming and percussion world at large and if I need that little extra inspiration, I can turn to my NDA magazine and read about what's going on and who's doing what, where to catch a clinic and so on.  I think all of us can use a boost every now and then.

Ken toured the East coast in 1987 and '88 with the rock band "ICE".  Aside from filling the drum chair, Ken was also involved in the writing for their album, "The Sharp Edge of Moonlight."  Currently working on his fist solo album, Ken is weaving his songwriting, vocal and drumming talents into a rich musical tapestry.  Because of widespread radio airplay in the wake of a recent "on air" call-in show, the involvement of a top entertainment attorney, and the interest shown by a prominent New York agent, Ken sees a future full of unlimited possibilities!
